Walking Into DarknessAbout this series
Walking Into DarknessA single figure stands in silhouette on an open plain, facing a low sun that breaks over a dark ridge of mountains. The sky is heavy and streaked with cloud, washed in muted purple and blue, and the light behind the peaks flares into warm bands and soft bokeh circles that drift across the frame. His shadow stretches long toward you. It is photographic and cinematic, moody without being bleak, and on a big screen in a dim room it settles a congregation before a word is spoken.

The territory here is honest: fear, doubt, sin, pain, and the uncertainty of a season you did not choose. It also points forward. Isaiah 41:10 sits naturally underneath a set of messages on faith over fear, finding God in the valley, and the refining and revelation that suffering can bring. Because the artwork holds darkness and sunrise in the same frame, it preaches well through Lent and lands on Easter morning, where hope is not a mood but a person who walked out of the dark first.
Run the 5:00 countdown as people find seats, then open the message with the 1:15 bumper. The title graphics carry the same sky across your screens, and the layered .psd files let you retitle the pack for your own message list. Video comes as .mov and .mp4, stills as .jpg and .png, so these sermon series graphics drop into whatever your booth already runs. The music comes from Soundstripe.
