Dysfunctional Family ChristmasAbout this series
Dysfunctional ChristmasThe whole thing looks like a Christmas card someone found in a shoebox. Soft gray paper texture fills the frame. Rows of cross-stitched snowflakes in crimson and navy run along the top and bottom like the border of an ugly sweater, with small zigzag stitch lines bracketing the title. "DYSFUNCTIONAL" and "CHRISTMAS" sit in blocky red pixel letters, and a tall navy serif "FAMILY" stretches across the middle. To the right, a taped Polaroid holds a very real family portrait: matching red sweaters, big glasses, a baby who is over it. Room response is a laugh first, then a settling. People relax when the screen admits the holidays are complicated.

Matthew 1:1 opens the door. The genealogy of Jesus is not a tidy family, and that is the point. This pack gives you a place to preach redemption running straight through scandal, grace landing on people who did not earn it, and hope for families that came into the room carrying something heavy. Salvation shows up in the mess, not around it. Run it as an Advent series or a shorter Christmas run.
Start the room with the 2:00 countdown so people walking in catch the tone before anyone speaks. Roll the 1:11 bumper to open the message. Hold the still title graphics on screens during teaching and put them on the lobby display. Push the social graphics out midweek so guests know what they are walking into. Files come as .mov, .mp4, and .jpg, so these church sermon series graphics drop straight into what you already run.
