Stor Series Preview 1
Series Summary:
God is the ultimate Storyteller. Every life has a narrative, every trial has a chapter, and every victory has a testimony. The Storyteller is a four-week series that explores how God writes His story in our lives — how we discover our role in His narrative, trust Him through plot twists, and live as part of His epic story for the world.
This series will inspire the church to see their lives as more than events — as divinely authored stories with purpose, meaning, and impact.
Theme Scripture:
Jeremiah 29:11
Week 1

Week 1 — “God Writes First”

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 139:13–16, Ephesians 2:10

Introduction

Every story has an author. Before the first page of your life, God was already writing.

Key Point Ideas

  • God designed you with purpose

  • Your story isn’t random; it’s intentional

  • Identity comes from knowing you are authored by God

  • Trusting the Author changes how you live

Application

  • Reflect on your God-given purpose

  • Write down key milestones God has brought you through

  • Pray for clarity about the next chapter

Closing Thoughts

Your life isn’t a draft — it’s a masterpiece in progress.

Week 2 — “Plot Twists and Promise”

Scripture: Romans 8:28, Genesis 50:20, Isaiah 55:8–9

Introduction

Sometimes life doesn’t make sense. The plot twists seem unfair, but God’s story always moves toward redemption.

Key Point Ideas

  • Hardship is part of the narrative, not the end

  • God can turn setbacks into setups

  • Trusting God in the twists strengthens faith

  • Your trials are chapters, not the conclusion

Application

  • Identify a current “plot twist” in your life

  • Ask God what He is teaching you through it

  • Share a testimony of how God turned difficulty into blessing

Closing Thoughts

Even when you can’t see the ending, God is still writing the story.

Week 3 — “The Hero’s Journey”

Scripture: Joshua 1:9, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Matthew 5:14–16

Introduction

Every story has a hero. In God’s story, He calls ordinary people to extraordinary roles.

Key Point Ideas

  • Courage and faith shape heroes

  • God equips the called

  • Your story impacts others

  • Obedience is the turning point in every narrative

Application

  • Step into one area God is calling you to influence

  • Identify a fear you need to face to advance your story

  • Encourage someone else in their God-given journey

Closing Thoughts

You are a hero in God’s story — rise to the call He has written for you.

Week 4 — “Your Story Matters”

Scripture: Revelation 12:11, Psalm 78:4, John 4:36

Introduction

Stories don’t end with us — they inspire generations.

Key Point Ideas

  • Testimonies bring hope and faith to others

  • Your story is part of God’s larger narrative

  • Sharing your journey glorifies God

  • Lives touched by your story create eternal impact

Application

  • Share your story with someone this week

  • Write down key lessons from your journey

  • Look for ways to mentor or encourage others

Closing Thoughts

God’s story is bigger than any one person —
but He wrote your chapter to make a difference.
