Series Summary:
Throughout Scripture, mountains were where heaven touched earth.
God spoke. God revealed. God transformed.
In Summer On The Mountain, we’re stepping away from the noise of the valley and climbing into moments with God that renew our vision, restore our strength, and realign our lives. This summer isn’t about escaping reality — it’s about encountering God so deeply that everything changes when we come back down.
Theme Scripture:
Exodus 19:3–6, Psalm 24:3–4, James 4:8
Week 1

Week 1 — “Meet Me on the Mountain”

Scripture: Exodus 19:3–6, Psalm 24:3–4, James 4:8

Introduction

God didn’t speak to Moses in the crowd — He called him up.
Elevation brings revelation.

Key Point Ideas

  • God invites us higher before He reveals His will

  • The mountain is a place of separation and focus

  • You can’t hear God clearly in constant noise

  • Drawing near changes everything

Application

  • Create intentional time with God this summer

  • Remove distractions that dull your hunger

  • Choose intimacy over busyness

Closing Thoughts

The climb is worth it —
because what God shows you on the mountain will sustain you in the valley.

Week 2 — “Transformed on the Summit”

Scripture: Matthew 17:1–8, Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18

Introduction

Jesus didn’t just reveal His glory — He revealed His disciples’ future.
God transforms us when we encounter Him.

Key Point Ideas

  • God changes us in His presence

  • Glory always produces growth

  • You can’t stay the same after a real encounter

  • Transformation begins on the inside

Application

  • Invite God to change what needs to change

  • Stop settling for spiritual routine

  • Let God renew your mind and heart

Closing Thoughts

You came up one way —
you’re meant to go back down different.

Week 3 — “Provision in High Places”

Scripture: Genesis 22:13–14, Psalm 121, Philippians 4:19

Introduction

Abraham climbed the mountain expecting sacrifice —
but he discovered provision.

God reveals Himself as our provider in high places.

Key Point Ideas

  • God sees what you can’t

  • Obedience leads to supply

  • Jehovah Jireh meets us on the mountain

  • Faith opens the door for miracles

Application

  • Trust God with what you’re holding back

  • Step out in obedience

  • Believe God for provision in every area

Closing Thoughts

What looks like loss is often the setup for God’s supply.

Week 4 — “Carry the Fire Down”

Scripture: Exodus 34:29–35, Matthew 5:14–16, Habakkuk 3:19

Introduction

Moses came down glowing.
God never intended the mountain experience to stay on the mountain.

Key Point Ideas

  • What God does in you should shine through you

  • Encounters create impact

  • You’re called to bring heaven into the valley

  • Your light leads others to God

Application

  • Share what God has done in you

  • Live boldly for Christ

  • Be a light wherever you go

Closing Thoughts

You climbed the mountain to meet God —
now go change the world with what He gave you.
