Series Summary:
Life moves in circles — seasons, relationships, challenges, and opportunities all follow a rhythm. Circles is a fall-themed, four-week series that explores how God works in cycles to grow faith, deepen relationships, and bring renewal. Just as the leaves change and fall, God uses the natural rhythms of life to teach lessons about trust, purpose, and community.
This series invites the church to embrace the cycles of life, trust God’s timing, and step into the fullness of His plan.
Theme Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 3:1–8
Week 1

Week 1 — “The Circle of Seasons”

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1–8, Genesis 8:22, Isaiah 55:10–11

Introduction

Just as the earth moves through seasons, our lives follow divine rhythms. God works in every season to shape us.

Key Point Ideas

  • Life has seasons: planting, growing, harvesting, resting

  • Each season has a purpose, even the challenging ones

  • God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match ours

  • Trusting God allows us to thrive in every season

Application

  • Reflect on the current “season” of your life

  • Ask God for wisdom to navigate challenges and opportunities

  • Write down one way God has used past seasons to grow your faith

Closing Thoughts

God’s circle of seasons reminds us that every stage of life is part of His plan.

Week 2 — “The Circle of Influence”

Scripture: Proverbs 27:17, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Hebrews 10:24–25

Introduction

Who we surround ourselves with shapes who we become. Circles of influence matter for faith, character, and purpose.

Key Point Ideas

  • Relationships can build or break spiritual growth

  • Positive influence inspires faith, integrity, and love

  • Community strengthens accountability and encouragement

Application

  • Identify the top three people influencing your life this season

  • Invest in relationships that build faith and encourage growth

  • Pray for wisdom in choosing and cultivating your circle of influence

Closing Thoughts

The circle of influence is a divine tool — choose companions who draw you closer to God.

Week 3 — “The Circle of Grace”

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9, Ephesians 2:8–9, Luke 6:36

Introduction

Grace is not a one-time gift — it’s a cycle that flows from God, through us, and to others.

Key Point Ideas

  • God’s grace covers every part of life’s circle

  • Extending grace completes the circle of love

  • Forgiveness, mercy, and compassion keep relationships healthy

  • Living in grace creates ripples of blessing

Application

  • Reflect on areas where you need to extend grace to someone

  • Write down one act of forgiveness or kindness this week

  • Share God’s grace with someone who needs encouragement

Closing Thoughts

Grace creates a circle of restoration — what God gives us, we pass on to others.

Week 4 — “The Circle of Renewal”

Scripture: Isaiah 40:31, Romans 12:2, Lamentations 5:21

Introduction

Autumn reminds us that endings can lead to new beginnings. God specializes in renewal and restoration.

Key Point Ideas

  • God restores strength to the weary

  • Life’s endings are often God’s opportunities for a fresh start

  • Renewal requires surrender, faith, and patience

  • Every cycle can lead to growth, purpose, and blessing

Application

  • Identify one area of life needing spiritual renewal

  • Commit to a daily practice of prayer, scripture, or reflection

  • Step into a new opportunity God is calling you toward

Closing Thoughts

The circle of renewal shows us that God’s power transforms endings into fresh beginnings.
