Week 1: “When the Fire Falls”
Scripture: Acts 2:1-4; Joel 2:28-29
Introduction:
The early church didn’t start with a program—it started with a fire. When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, ordinary people were filled with extraordinary power. That same fire is available to us today.
Key Points:
•The fire of the Spirit comes where there’s hunger and unity – Acts 2:1
•God’s promise is to pour out His Spirit on all flesh – Joel 2:28
•The Spirit ignites purpose, power, and boldness – Acts 2:4; Acts 1:8
Application:
Are you positioned for the fire to fall? Ask God for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit, and prepare your heart with expectation.
Closing Thought:
God doesn’t ignite spectators—He fills those ready to burn for His glory.
Week 2: “Fuel for the Flame”
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6-7; Romans 12:11
Introduction:
A fire left unattended will eventually burn out. But God calls us to fan into flame the gift we’ve received. The Spirit’s fire isn’t a one-time experience—it’s a lifestyle of passion, purity, and pursuit.
Key Points:
•Fan into flame what God has already given – 2 Timothy 1:6
•Don’t let your spiritual fire go cold – Romans 12:11
•Fear puts out fire, but faith fuels it – 2 Timothy 1:7
Application:
What’s feeding your fire—and what’s smothering it? Identify distractions, doubts, or habits that are dulling your flame, and recommit to spiritual disciplines that stir your spirit.
Closing Thought:
You don’t need more fire—you need to stir the fire already inside you.
Week 3: “Burning but Not Broken”
Scripture: Exodus 3:1-6; Isaiah 43:2
Introduction:
God spoke to Moses through a bush that was burning but not consumed. Sometimes God allows us to walk through the fire—not to destroy us, but to get our attention, shape our calling, and reveal His presence.
Key Points:
•God often meets us in the fire – Exodus 3:2
•The fire that refines isn’t meant to destroy – Isaiah 43:2
•Fire clarifies your calling – Exodus 3:4-6
Application:
Are you in a season that feels like fire? Don’t run from it—listen for God in the midst of it. The fire may be the place where He reveals your next assignment.
Closing Thought:
God doesn’t waste the fire. He uses it to call, cleanse, and commission.
Week 4: “Carriers of the Flame”
Scripture: Matthew 5:14-16; Hebrews 12:29
Introduction:
The Spirit’s fire wasn’t given just to bless us—it was given to shine through us. When we carry the flame, we become a light to the world and agents of revival.
Key Points:
•You were never meant to hide the fire – Matthew 5:14-16
•God is a consuming fire—and His presence in you should be contagious – Hebrews 12:29
•Spirit-filled people live on mission – Acts 2:42-47
Application:
How is God calling you to carry the flame into your family, workplace, and world? Let your passion for Jesus be visible and uncontainable.
